One price per shop
Every plan carries unlimited users and does everything SquareTally does. What changes between them is how many projects you run a month, and whose name is on the renders you send a client.

What one project means
A project is one client address or plan set. Inside it, everything is unlimited: layout options, estimate revisions, re-renders of a room whose floor the client changed their mind about.
Quoting the Henderson house in oak, then in herringbone walnut, then again after the architect moved a wall, is one project. Most dealers put two or three layout options in front of a client before one is chosen — all of that sits inside the single project.
Annual billing buys a yearly pool
Flooring is seasonal. A dealer measuring four jobs in January and twenty-eight in June would spend eleven months paying for an allowance they cannot use, then hit overage in the one month they are busiest.
So an annual plan converts the monthly allowance into a yearly pool — 60, 360 or 900 projects — spent whenever the work arrives. The quiet winter pays for the summer. Monthly plans keep a monthly allowance.
Going over is a line item, never a wall
Hitting a hard cap in the middle of a quote is the worst possible moment to meet your software vendor. Extra projects are simply billed at your plan's rate — $9 on Solo, $6 on Pro, $4 on Studio — and the work carries on.
The rates are set so that moving up a plan is only ever worth it once you are genuinely busier. Solo plus overage stays cheaper than Pro through 16 projects a month; Pro plus overage stays cheaper than Studio through 55. We prompt an upgrade at that point and not before.
Trying it
Fourteen days and three projects, with renders and the QuickBooks Online connection included. The point is to put one of your own plan sets through the whole workflow — measure it, price it, render it, and look at the two drafts that land in QuickBooks — before any money changes hands.
SquareTally is opening to dealers a few at a time while the product settles, so access starts with a short conversation. Twenty minutes on a real plan set, and we price one of your jobs live.
Questions about pricing
- Do you charge per user?
- No. Every plan carries unlimited users. The price depends on how many projects the shop runs, so putting a second estimator on the payroll never changes the bill.
- What counts as one project?
- One client address or plan set, with unlimited layout options, estimate revisions and re-renders inside it. Three ways of quoting the same house is one project.
- What happens if I go over my projects for the month?
- Work continues and the extra projects appear on the bill at your plan's rate — $9 on Solo, $6 on Pro, $4 on Studio. We suggest moving up a plan only once overage costs more than the next plan would.
- Are room renders included in every plan?
- Yes, including in the trial. Solo renders carry a small “Made with SquareTally” corner mark. Pro and Studio renders carry no mark at all.
- Can I switch plans or cancel?
- Yes — write to support and we move you, from the next billing period. Cancelling stops the next charge. Everything already drafted in QuickBooks is yours regardless, since it lives in your own company file.
- Does the price include QuickBooks Online?
- No — you bring your own QuickBooks Online subscription and connect it. SquareTally writes estimate drafts into the company you already keep your books in.
