Unlimited projects, priced by the seat

Every plan carries unlimited projects. Lite is for installers quoting their own work: describe the job and your prices, measure the floor plan if there is one, then choose a PDF quote or QuickBooks draft. Solo, Pro and Studio carry that installation-quote flow too, and add the material takeoff — measuring each room off the architect's drawings, applying waste and setting the selling price; Pro and Studio also render each room in the floor the client chose. Lite and Solo are one seat; Pro and Studio bring a team along.

Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial. A card is required to begin, and the first charge comes when the trial ends.

Two ways in, and how to tell which is yours

The question is where your numbers come from. An installer usually has them already — the rooms, the square footage, the rate agreed with the client — and the quoting work is writing it up. Lite is that job: describe the work and your prices, review the lines, then download a branded PDF or create a QuickBooks draft.

When the installer's job comes with a floor plan, Lite measures it too: upload the PDF, calibrate the scale, trace the rooms, and the square footage lands in the description you are quoting from.

A dealer or a designer working from a set of drawings has the opposite problem, because somebody has to work out how much floor the job takes before a price exists at all. That is what Solo, Pro and Studio are built for — measuring each room off the PDF, adding the waste your laying style needs, finding $/sqft on the vendor sheet you choose — and, on Pro and Studio, rendering the room so the client can see the floor before anyone orders it.

Solo, Pro and Studio carry the installation-quote flow too — some jobs arrive as a message and some as a plan set, and each project takes the workflow that fits when you create it. Pick the plan that matches how the work reaches you, and if that changes, write to support and we move you.

After the quote, prepare the customer contract

Every plan lets your company upload its own contract template once. After a quote is reviewed, fill the customer, project, agreement date, estimate number and contract price, then download a customer-specific PDF. Review it and upload it to DocuSign or the signing service you already use; SquareTally does not send or sign contracts for you.

Projects are unlimited

Every plan carries unlimited projects, and inside each project everything is unlimited too: layout options, estimate revisions, re-renders of a room whose floor the client changed their mind about. A busy June costs the same as a quiet January.

Quoting the Henderson house in oak, then in herringbone walnut, then again after the architect moved a wall, and then the next twenty houses — none of it changes the bill.

Seats are what the plans differ on

A seat is one person signing in. Lite and Solo are one seat — the installer or the owner-estimator doing their own quoting. Pro carries five and Studio fifteen, for shops where several people work through plan sets. Everyone on the account shares its projects, price lists, contract template and QuickBooks connection.

To add a person on Pro or Studio, write to support with their email address and we add them to your shop's account. Need more seats than your plan carries, or a seat on Solo? Write to us and we work it out.

Annual billing is ten months for twelve

$350 on Lite, $550 on Solo, $1,490 on Pro, $2,990 on Studio. Projects are unlimited either way, so the only difference is two months free.

Trying it

Three days, with every feature of the plan you picked — renders on Pro and Studio, PDF quotes and the optional QuickBooks Online connection — included. The point is to put one plan set through the whole workflow — measure it, price it, render it, and create the output your shop uses — before any money changes hands. The trial covers three projects on Solo, Pro and Studio; projects are unlimited once it ends. On Lite the same three days apply with unlimited estimates, and the thing to try is a job you have just quoted, written up the way you would write it anyway.

Starting takes a plan and an email address: pick one above, sign in with the link we send, add a card, and the three days begin. The first charge comes when the trial ends. Questions about pricing

What is the difference between Lite and the other plans?
Lite is for installers quoting their own work: describe the job and prices, review the editable lines, then download a PDF quote or create a QuickBooks estimate draft — and measure the room sizes off a floor plan when the job has one. Solo, Pro and Studio carry that installation-quote flow and add the material takeoff from the architect's drawings — waste rules per laying style, vendor price lists, with a material PDF quote or linked QuickBooks drafts; Pro and Studio add a render of each room.
Can I get the text-only estimate on Solo, Pro or Studio?
Yes. Since August 2026 every plan carries the installation-quote flow: describe the job and prices, review the editable lines, then choose a PDF quote or a QuickBooks draft. On Solo, Pro and Studio each project chooses its workflow — installation quote or material takeoff — and Settings holds your default.
Can SquareTally create customer contracts?
Yes, on every plan. Upload your company's own contract template once, review the extracted wording and fields, then fill the customer, project, date, estimate number and price after each quote. SquareTally downloads a customer-specific PDF for you to review and upload to DocuSign or another signing service. It does not send or sign the contract for you.
How many people can use one plan?
Lite and Solo are one seat each — one person signing in. Pro carries five seats and Studio fifteen. To add a person, write to support with their email address and we add them to your shop's account.
Is there a limit on projects?
No. Projects are unlimited on every plan, and so are the layout options, estimate revisions and re-renders inside each one. Lite's estimates are unlimited too.
Can I measure a floor plan on Lite?
Yes. Upload the PDF, calibrate the scale, trace each room and get its square footage, then add the sizes to your job description so they flow into the quote lines. Waste rules and vendor price lists are on Solo, Pro and Studio; room renders are on Pro and Studio.
Are room renders included in every plan?
They come with Pro and Studio, including in the trial. Lite and Solo have none: Solo measures, prices and quotes the job without the visual, and Lite measures room sizes only.
Can I switch plans or cancel?
Yes. Cancelling takes one click from your billing page and stops the next charge. To switch plans, write to support and we move you from the next billing period. Everything already drafted in QuickBooks remains in your company, and any PDF you downloaded remains yours.
Does the price include QuickBooks Online?
No. QuickBooks is optional. Bring your own QuickBooks Online subscription if you want accounting drafts; branded PDF quotes do not require an accounting connection.
