End-User License Agreement
Effective date: July 22, 2026
This agreement governs your use of SquareTally (the "Service"), a web application for measuring floor plans and preparing estimates. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your business purposes. You retain all rights to the content you upload (plans, measurements, catalogs); you grant us the right to store and process it solely to operate the Service.
2. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the documents you upload and the measurements, prices, and quantities you produce with the Service.
- Everything the Service creates in QuickBooks is a draft. You must review estimates before sending them to any client. The Service never sends documents to your clients.
- You confirm you have the right to upload the documents you process (e.g. plans received from builders or architects).
- Keep your email account secure — sign-in links are sent to it.
3. QuickBooks connection
Connecting QuickBooks Online is optional and uses Intuit's official OAuth flow. You can revoke the connection at any time from the Service or from your Intuit account settings. Your use of QuickBooks remains governed by Intuit's own terms.
4. Availability & support
The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Support: support@squaretally.com.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including errors in measurements, quantities, or estimates that you did not verify before use, or loss of business arising from reliance on drafts generated by the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
6. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service or breach these terms.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email, with the new effective date shown above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of France, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or business protections of your own jurisdiction.
